Summer Solstice

A fresh citrus, soft and smooth 42% ABV London dry gin with a base of Juniper, Coriander and Angelica Root gently overlaid with signature botanicals of mainly fresh Pink Grapefruit but with a little of White Grapefruit to give it softness and fresh Pomegranate to give it a fruity ending. This gin is totally unfiltered so when served over ice, it may turn a little cloudy as the oils come out of solution but this way, it does not loose its nose, taste and unique character when served. We only use fresh grapefruit peel to give the gin a bright freshness and use the spent insides of the grapefruits and a few whole ones for their skin to make glorious Grapefruit Marmalade which is also available to purchase.

Serving Suggestion

Best served over ice and don’t be shy with your measure of gin. Just add a splash or two of a plain regular tonic with a garnish of a slice of either fresh or frozen Pink Grapefruit or dried Pink Hibsicus Flowers to turn it fabulously pink or if you are feeling decadent, why not use both! We favour Double Dutch Indian Tonic Water or their Skinny Tonic Water as it has just the right amount of everything so as to compliment your Gin and Tonic rather than adding any unwanted flavours in or the plainest tonic you can find. The Gin is the star of the show.

45ml Whittaker's Summer Solstice

30ml Green Apple Schnapps

22ml Lemon Juice

10ml Gomme Syrup

Method - Shake altogether and double strain into a highball glass and garnish with dried apple, rosemary or thyme and lemon zest - DELICIOUS!!
