Winter Solstice

A smooth Winter spicy and fruity 42% London dry gin with a base of Juniper, Coriander and Angelica Root gently overlaid with signature botanicals of dried Bitter Orange, Sultanas, Raisins, Currants, Star Anise with a kiss of Cloves and Cinnamon. The ideal fireside tipple for cold winter nights as the Star Anise gives it snuggly warmth with a background fruity and orange finish, the flavours come in layers. This gin is totally unfiltered so when served over ice, it may turn a little cloudy as the oils come out of solution but this way, it does not loose its nose, taste and unique character when served.


Serving Suggestion

Best served over ice and don’t be shy with your measure of gin. Try this gin with either ginger beer, ginger ale or simply with a plain regular tonic. Add a slice of either fresh or frozen Orange and if you want it even warmer, add a Star Anise and use a Cinnamon Stick for a stirrer. We just love the Double Dutch Ginger Beer which you almost have to take a breath before you drink as the ginger is so fresh, or their slightly milder Ginger Ale or their Regular or Skinny Tonic Water.

35ml Winter Solstice Gin

60ml Pomegranate juice

15ml Lemon juice

15ml Rosemary syrup

1 egg white

Method - shake altogether and pour into a retro fizz glass - garnish with rosemary, pomegranate and dried cranberries
